One in three individuals are diagnosed with a mental illness, however many fail to seek treatment due to the negative stigmas associated with mental illness. Those that are brave enough to seek treatment often times have limited supports in plane to aid in their journey of managing their mental illness and/or overcoming emotionally challenging situations. In addition, often times the family and friends of those diagnosed do not understand the challenges their loved ones face.
